Computer Service & Networking
STOP !
Resist the urge to inflict damage upon that sensitive electronic equipment.
Is your computer frustrating you ? Not answering the questions you ask it ? You talk to your PC right ?
If your PC doesn't seem to be performing as you would think and has become sluggish, it may benefit from a clean install or even just a good clean up.
- backing up data
- archiving infrequently used files
- uninstalling software/programs
- re-organisation of files
- driver and OS updates
Before you go out and spend hundreds on a new machine, consider how you use the PC. If is suits your needs a clean install will at least bring a computer back to an "Out of the Box" performance.
Otherwise it could also be used for other purposes - for example as a Home Server.
If you have a number of computers (Desktop, Laptop, PS3, XBOX...) it may be helpful to create a small network that allows for the sharing of resources such as internet, printers, files, photos, etc. and all securely within your home with the convenience of wireless technology.
